(Pitta brachyura)
Who migrates to Sri Lanka in the month of end September
and resides until the second week of May the following year.
This bird can be seen any part of Sri Lanka and loves to pick the food
in a quiet dense areas. Mostly under a big trees looking for worms by turning
the fallen leaves of trees. But i have discovered that he eat rice what is thrown from the left overs of the houses.
This fellow in the picture loves to do so and he waits until i do so.
