TRAIL TYPE - FEES AND TIMES

The main trails are categorized as follows

1.  Bird Trails
2.  Butterfly Trails
3.  Wildlife Photography Trails
4.  Safaris (conducted in a selected national park out of three)
5.  Sinharaja - birding (full day) 
6.  Wilpattu - Leopard sighting (full day) 
7.  Wilpattu - Loris sighting (conducted during nights with an additional charge) 

• Trail Times

• Half a day trail 1 - Commencing at 6.30am - 11.30am
• Half a day trail 2 - Commencing at 3.00pm till dusk  
• Full day trails - Commencing at 6.30am - 11.30am. The meal break and the change of location will take place after 11.30am. Second session will commence at 3.00pm till dusk.

• 1, 2, 3 & 4 
• makes sure that you have correct apparatus with you to observe the species in the wild.
• a pen and a notebook to jot down the species that you observed. 
• enough drinking water to avoid dehydration and breakfast.
• Head wear.
• a small towel.
• proper hiking shoes.
• properly attired to blend with the natural surroundings.
• a backpack to store your trail materials. 

• While in action
• observe silence, to avoid, bringing disturbance to the species.
• please switch your cellular phones to silent mode till you conclude the trail.
• please avoid, feeding primates or any wild species to avoid any disturbances to the trail.
• always remember, not to isolate the trailer (Dhilip) without his permission. 
• always, be close to the trailer without keeping large gaps while walking.
• try not to get panic for any reason. if so, bring it to the notice of the trailer.  

• Charges 
• 1 and 2 - Half a day trails - one person to a maximum of 10 people will be taken at one given time. First two people will be charged at USD 65. Every additional person will be charged at USD 10 each. 

• 1 and 2 - Full day trails - One person to a maximum of 10 people will be taken at one given time. First two people will be charged at USD 130. Every additional person will be charged at USD 10. 

• Half a day tail no. 3 - One person to a maximum of 10 people will be taken at one given time. First two people will be charged at USD 130. Every additional person will be charged at USD 20. 

• Full day trail no. 3 - One person to a maximum of 10 people will be taken at one given time. First two people will be charged at USD 220. Every additional person will be charged at USD 20. 

• Safaris - Category 4 - The charges to be arranged at the starting point that we begin the trail. Time to time the prices of the entrance tickets and the jeep charges are subject to be change. Remember and note that, only five people will accommodate in a Jeep. if the numbers exceed to more than five a second Jeep is required. Once you enter the park, refrain from smoking, consuming food (always try an avoid taking food into the park) and no getting out of the Jeep for any reason. If the wild animals go very close to your vehicle, try not to reach out your hands to caress them.
• Category 6 & 7 - payments to be done at the site      

Things to do before the payment

1. Ensure that you have booked your hotel, guest house or homestay in the desired location (Habarana Sri Lanka)
2. I, advice you to reserve a hotel, Guesthouse or homestay in Habarana or close to my location. There are many new homestays and guest houses have been constructed with high end facilities. If needed, I can help you or recommend a better and comfortable place for your stay.
3. Please note, that I do not accept any cancelations once you have reserved the day and time of the trail. Also changing durations of trails such as full day to half a day will not be accepted. As I have to employ a talented and qualified guy to carry out the trail for you, providing that I am unable to conduct due to another reservation. 
4. Therefore, please ensure that all things are in perfect order on your side, before you place the reservation for a trail. 
5. If by chance, if I couldn't conduct the trail due to some reason like the bad weather, the trail will be conducted on the second half of the selected day or first half of the following day. It is mainly for half a day trails. If the full day trails too are disturbed due to the same reason mentioned above, those trails too will be conducted on the following day. 
6. If you, abide by the above terms and conditions your reservation will be accepted by me to conduct the trail.
